Roots Afrika was the main choir performing "voices" at WOMEN'S WORLDS CONGRESS Uganda 2002 hosted by Makerere University.

Roots Afrika has presented skits to combat Child Labour and Abuse as an effort by Uganda Police for community awareness.

Children's Theater Chapter

Children’s Theater Chapter, has its center at Kibiri Boarding School in Uganda, champions of the National Primary School’s music, dance and drama competition on the theme HIV/AIDS and the Youth.

Explore the winning children’s drama “The Blood” developed and directed by Daniel Ssettaba on replacing stigma with self- esteem and participation, accepting the role played by HIV positive children in making the world a better place, causing awareness for both people living with HIV, and the HIV-free to reduce further HIV infection. This play shall feature in the forth coming 11th International Conference for people living with HIV/AIDS 26th – 30th October 2003 Kampala Uganda.
